This is a fairly standard Thrash piece that likens back to the likes of early material by bands like Anthrax and Slayer. It’s a fiery work in a live setting that fast paced and energetic riffing. There is a raw nature to the material that likens it to early works of the genre, but that can also be its downfall to some extent.

When compared to the modern production and sound of works like the recent Sylosis album "Edge Of The Earth" or even the 1999 album "The Gathering" by Testament, it sounds a bit tame in comparison, but this can be attributed to live nature of the work as well. This makes the songs sound pleasant enough for a Thrash offering, but not the power and vitality that makes the best releases of Thrash stand out. The song-writing here is very good and somewhat tight, but nothing spectacular either. The riffs sound a lot like early Slayer ones, but different enough that the band has its own style and flair. 'Bred, Fed Then Dead' demonstrates a bit of versatility, adding to the overall effect of the album. Overall, the riffs have a certain amount of crispness to them that enhances the album musically as an entirety. The band is certainly commendable in making a release that is live in nature actually sound very similar to a normal full-length.

There is plenty to like on "Live‘Till Death", but this is also far from the best Thrash you’ll find as well. Die-hard fans of the genre are the ones that this album comes most recommended to.
