One can sense a need for controlled speed to be found on this release. The band is more intense, but sort of similar to Polish stalwarts Vader. They tighten their sound up to make everything come together in unisons of ferocity. This is good because the type of Death Metal performed here could easily be seen to get out of control. The band manages to keep things sounding focused and precise, even when they engage in very high speeds. The track 'Divine Project' is interesting in its interwoven nature. The sound of the remainder of the disc is equally dense and involving.
The band puts in many twists and turns to keep their music consistently enthralling. To be fair, Lost Soul can become a little chaotic when they are at their most frenetic. This is probably the biggest down-point to the work, if there is one. However, they are able to take many ideas from other Death Metal music and add in their own interesting thoughts to the mix. It all adds up to a sound that is both unique and borrows nicely from some other established greats. There’s a purity of the Death Metal sound that is incredibly welcome to hear. The band weaves their way around the fast musical landscapes to woo the listener with skill. I was really impressed with every aspect of Lost Soul’s display.
The musicianship is beyond tight with excellent drumming, great guitar riffs and suitable singing. Look no further than '…If The Dead Can Speak' for another outstanding display of their overall abilities. Really, "Immerse In Infinity" displays excellent performances through and through. It never has moments where it lets up the pace or becomes uninteresting at any times. "Immerse In Infinity" comes recommended to any and all Death Metal fans.
