NAPALM DEATH Launched New Video for 'Dear Slum Landlord'

Napalm Death

UK Grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH have launched a new video for the track 'Dear Slum Landlord' off band's 15th studio album Apex Predator - Easy Meat. This clip was created by Costin Chioreanu / Twilight Media and includes performance footage shot by Oliver Barth / Visions In Fear.

NAPALM DEATH vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway checked in to comment on the video as follows: "Being a very queasy and deliberately monotone kind of song, we felt simplicity was the key with the video for 'Dear Slum Landlord'. Suitably, thanks to two production people in Oliver and Costin - who really understand the contrasting elements of Napalm Death - it's simple, desolate, black and white and just that little bit grim, befitting the subject matter of interconnected housing/labour exploitation which does its best to remain hidden from view."

NAPALM DEATH Debut Video Clip for 'How The Years Condemn'

Napalm Death

UK Grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH continue to promote their 15th and much praised studio album release Apex Predator - Easy Meat and today they debut the album's second video clip, for the track "How The Years Condemn".

Check out the enthralling effort, composed by live footage shot in North America by Doug Brown and enhanced by animation courtesy of Costin Chioreanu / Twilight Media below:

NAPALM DEATH have checked in to comment on the clip as follows:
"Subject-wise I think this is one of the more open-ended of the tracks that we have in the sense that everybody has their own ideas toward living a vibrant and fulfilling life. To me, Costin expertly captured some elements that can be detrimental to that and keep us in a bubble: becoming progressively stupefied by television / mass media... leaving unnecessary burdens upon another person sharing life with us... only seeing an altered perspective through the bottom of a bottle or suchlike. Don't misunderstand, this is not an anti-alcohol / intoxicant song - as some might conclude - but more to understand that any form of stimulant that controls us rather us controlling it (from TV to drugs and many things in between) really can impair and reduce the quality of life that is possible for our finite time on earth." - Mark 'Barney' Greenway

"How The Years Condemn" I guess is a term that's used for many reasons - for me I first heard it from a guy who later became a friend of mine in a hospital bed next to me 3 years ago, as we passed the time talking about why we had both ended up there! It was at that point and then the following 6 days afterwards that I said to myself that enough was finally enough! I thought about how lucky I was to be doing what I had always dreamed of doing, and in doing so, the awesome people, friends and loved ones that I had met and who now accompany me on this strange journey called life. To my loved ones I realized I had been selfish and it was time for a change, a realization that we are not invincible nor are we indestructible." - Shane Embury

NAPALM DEATH Premiere First Song off 'Apex Predator - Easy Meat'

Napalm Death

Anticipating their upcoming 15th studio album release entitled Apex Predator - Easy Meat via Century Media Records on January 26th, 2015 in Europe and January 27th, 2015 in North America, British Grindcore legends NAPALM DEATH are now launching a first online song-sample as an appetizer.

Check out the new NAPALM DEATH track Cesspits below:

While currently still on tour in Europe, NAPALM DEATH's vocalist Mark 'Barney' Greenway checked in to comment on the track as follows: "Cesspits is both literally and figuratively about people living in holes. It is perhaps one of the ultimate indignities and one of those things that a blind eye is often turned to. The subject matter called for a very savage delivery, and although there are quite a few musical facets to this song, it doesn't stop letting rip."
