Polish metal history is somewhat short by most standards, but it is so fucking good for what has been put out there by the former Soviet ally. Polish metal is straight up some of the heaviest, insanely nasty and completely unforgiving metal today. Vesania is one of these polish bands that have formed the scene, but they have transcended into something larger than anything before.

What do you get when you combine members of such polish metal standouts as Behemoth and Norwegian blackened stars Dimmu Borgir?. You get this lumbering darkened infused monster of a band Vesania (Latin for Insanity). Combining the brutality of Death Metal with a heavier version of Symphonic Black Metal, this polish supergroup smashes the competition and leads you to this insane world that is filled with pain, degradation of souls and unholy observances.

With massive riffs like the explosive track 'The Downfall' to the disturbingly heavy 'Hell Is For Children'... makes this whole album a beast of pure metal. The other tracks are just as good, and made the whole 43 minutes of the CD that much more amazing... and will haunt you long after the last track has faded away, just like what good metal should do.

Great band, great CD and a great time... pretty much tells you that I really do advise anyone with a brain to grab this album.
