It is said that the key to great metal is with itís ability to convey power. Talent does play a very important role in it, but without coupling with a good basis of power it loses itís punch. With that said and done, it is not a real problem with the metallic giant that is aptly called Monstrosity
Fuelled by insatiable need for creating good Death Metal, Floridian Gore masters Monstrosity
filled the need of ours very nicely. With explosive and melodic riffs that mash your mind while slamming us with some of the best driving bass lines in the field... this band attacks your very senses and lays the perfect groundwork for delivering some of the finest and meanest metal around.
Songs like the stone cold fury of 'The Inhuman Race' or the heart stopping rabid guitar attack of 'Firestorm' are the most surprising of the songs, but all of the other songs that I have not pointed out are also massively powerful in their own ways. Each of the ten tracks are recorded masterfully, never once hiding or even taking away from the brutal magic that this band is giving us.
Florida has always been a place for exceptional Death Metal over the years, and led the way for others to come later. It goes to show that North America can make very fucking good Death Metal, without having to import it from Sweden and Finland. Donít get me wrong here, we do love Swedish metal, but the North American DM still can stand tall, and kick your ass time and time again. Nuff Said!!
