As black as a moonless night, as sinister as your darkest fears coming true and as foreboding as being dragged in front of Lord Satan himself, Root
is a bonafide hymn maker for Satanists everywhere. Complex rhythms and unearthly vocals weave a eerie and dank look into the world of the fallen angel himself... Lord Lucifer.
has been around for a long time, but I have to say that they are one of the best in the BM world... I have been a fan of Venom
for years so I can tell you all that these guys are in that league when it comes down to it. They are the satanic version of 'Da Bomb' so to speak (Pardon my catch phrase I used).
Each song on this album (12 original tracks + three bonus tracks- thank you I Hate records) are amazing, and haunting. One listen to lead singer Big Boss and you will feel a hauntingly cold fingers creep up the back of your neck. His vocals are as scary as anything out there, and it is only magnified by the ethereal yet it has this overwhelmingly heavy music that comes along for the brimstone ride. Rob Zombie
should use one or two of these tracks for his next horror flick by reason of this brutal and amazing music. It would add so much.
This is like Root
had taken all of the doctrine and writings of Anton LaVey (Author of the Satanic Bible) and have put it all to music... it is a brilliant thing to do. If the Christians can have hymns praising their so called 'white god' everywhere you go... The Satanist side of things also needs that sort of thing as well. Equal rights do have a home even in the real world, and scares the hell out of the moral majority.
