I gotta smile... the older school of metal is alive and kicking some major ass these days in every corner of our little blue-green planet. There is nothing like old school fire to get your blood boiling and the head banging. With that, all hail Greek metallists Wolfcry.

Heavy, loud and very melodic would be the first three words I would have to pick to honestly describe these bangers. Sounding like the perfect combination of Helloween, Iron Maiden and Satavage that has been mixed in with some originality, the band kicks the living shit out of most bands. With perfect guitar work which works well for delivering anthemic songs that are filled with fantasy and epic stories and by a voice (Costas Hatzigeorgiou) that can hold up with anyone’s out there today Wolfcry’s album becomes an instant metal classic.

They seem to be reawakening the passion and fury that old school metal still has and never once making it sound as if it was out-of-date. Tracks like ‘God Of Deception’ and ‘Vile Mind’ are just two of the many stand-out songs that show that they are having pure fun while kicking your ass all over town. They are one of those fun type of bands that actually have talent as well.

Wolfcry are not breaking any new ground with this release, not even close to it but they are re-establishing the majesty and simple power that the older styles of metal have. Simply put, they are a band that will be for pure fun, where a cold beer and an hour of listening is a good thing. They have my respect... see for yourself!.
