Man‘O’War is and was the single minded force of a band that did the whole Cock Rock/Metal thing to the tenth power. The 80's over-the-top testosterone fuelled, debauchery drenched styled metal that made that decade what it was. We now are getting a new breed of macho, in your face sleazy rockers that are making a comeback in a really big way.

Germany’s Kamikaze Kings are the outright kings of the whole Macho Metal things right now. They are full on cheesy, and yet they are surprisingly great musicians and know that they are doing this hairy chested hard-dicked metal the first place. It is this mixture of things that attracted me so much to them even as I did the usual digging of information on them, they are as interesting as they are entertaining.

With only two songs offered up I have little to go on - and yet, it was great. Fun, heavy and cheesy as all hell - the 80's seem to have jumped 40 years and arrived ready to rock and kick some serious ass as well. Both songs are catchy, reminding me of all of the metal of the past, but it had a freshness as well - showing that debauchery and cockiness is not limited to the bands of the 80's.

This was fun, chest pounding machismo metal in full flight. Man’O’War step aside, there are new Alpha males in town... they have your women, your booze and are setting their sights for your fans too. They are the new breed ready to dominate all that come, bow to their musky might and relinquish your masses - they might spare you some confused Justin Bieber fans or their ex-wives for sport.
