This album is a remarkably consistent older one that has great high-pitched singing and uses a fantastical atmosphere to its advantage.  It is simply a wonderful sounding recording and one that is deserving of all the attention it gets and then more.  This is influential also at putting Arch/Matheos band in the spotlight.

In terms of musicianship, the album is quite stellar with solid performances in the guitar department and singing in particular.  There is a need to be as highly polished as possible and this leads to a pristine sounding recording.  The production is not stellar, but good enough to allow the music to shine.

In terms of negatives, there isn’t as much of a futuristic feeling as the recent albums by the band Arch/Matheos and this leads the album to be a bit too old school sounding for its own good.  Still, fans of the genre will find a great deal to like here.

This was all in all a fantastic recording with great vocals that are high pitched and emotional and atmospheric elements utilized nicely.  Fans of bands like Crimson Glory will be very pleased with what is to be found here.
