Review by Adam M on June 18, 2025.

This album represents a continuation of everything the band done up to this point and is a powerful entry into the band;s catalogue.  There is a very modern production job and a powerful presence that the band would never truly recapture to the same level in the future.  They are pretty solid at the  groove metal style at these points and it really shows in their sound.

The musicianship is hugely a strong point with solid guitar playing and drumming that is powerful and noteworthy.  The singing is again memorable and forms a foundation for the music.  It is not a huge step up on The Blackening in terms of musicianship, but solid nonetheless.

If there is a flaw to be found it is in how the band does not surpass other recordings like Burn My Eyes or The Blackening, but merely puts out another solid recording.  This is still a molten presence of energy and charisma and something that is to be valued and appreciated.  Songs such as the title track will make their presence felt.

In conclusion, this is another solid entry into the band’s discography and one that will make its mark upon the listener.  Though nothing particularly innovative it is solid and makes its mark on the listener over time.  Fans of the band will want to check this out.
