Review by Adam M on June 11, 2025.

This was an interesting album that made use of a nice production job be vibrant and colourful.  This is quite an infectious album and one that gives a kick in the pants to the band and bolsters them up.  This is a nicely produced album that is very pristine and interesting sounding.  It is a moody emotional and highly resonant piece of work.

The musicianship is quite stellar and has a smooth sounding feeling to it.  The guitars are powerful and make their mark upon you.  This is a very colourful album and livened up by singing that is classy and operatic.  The entire affair is nicely produced and will be charming to listen to.

In terms of flaws, there are not that many to be found.  This is performed in a slightly less album than Light of Day, Day of Darkness and carries with it a very powerful production job and is perhaps the spiffiest in the band’s catalogue.  It is still not as revolutionary as Light of Day, Day of Darkness and leaves a lot to be desired in terms of grand impact and scope.

All in all, this was a splendid album and one that is quite notable in the band’s evolution.  It is a very poignant piece and one that is a high point in the band’s long standing history.  Fans of the band will be highly recommended to check this album.
