Ibex Angel Order hail from the Netherlands and formerly operated under the name Funeral Goat from 2008 to 2014. Funeral Goat and Ibex Angel Order feature exmembers of Sauron and members of Verbum Verus, Planet AIDS and Abysmal Darkening. This is the duo's debut album on Daemon Worship Productions.

I contains ten tracks of raw and ominous occult black metal, chock full of hypnotic riffs and bombastic percussion. The vocals range from standard shrieks to chanting and spoken word passages and there is a varying degree of slow, mid-paced and fast parts. The hypnotic element mentioned previously is the only real gripe here, as the repetitive nature in some of the guitar parts tends to make the songs blur together. This was more than likely intentional but little to no clarity between track changes may be bothersome to some listeners.

Although not wholly original in presentation, I is a solid installation. Fans of acts such as Ondskapt, Acherontas, Nåstrond and Inquisition to name a few are sure to enjoy this cult offering.
