Review by Adam M on March 25, 2026.

This is a good album that makes use of a concept nature for a more extended listen.  The music here is still the same brand of stoner influenced metal as before and has a strong feeling of groove to be found.  The music is atmospheric and interesting and has a good  tendency towards the mainstream feeling as the band is now out in the open.

The musicianship is good with groovy guitars and solid drumming.  Also, the singing is top notch and very catchy. The entire affair is a well produced gem of an album that has all the right ingredients to make a huge impact.  Songs like “I’m Already Gone” are catchy and thoughtful.  The entirety of the musicianship is very interesting and thoughtful.

The problem I’m having with the disc is that it isn’t a huge improvement on some of their other albums like Purple and is somewhat generic in comparison.  The album does not have the huge chops of that other album and is more calm in nature.  It is still very solid all around and has a huge impact.  There is very little to dislike here and this is a stellar listen.

This was all in all a very good work that had the right ingredients to make its mark with power and finesse.  There is a groovy feeling akin to other albums like Yellow and Green and this is another successful venture for the band.  If you were a fan of this band before, you should like this album.
