I can't say I know much about what's going on lyrically or thematically, but musically, these guys sound like they're still in their infancy stages… technically proficient and capable of writing some damn good riffs from time to time, but still struggling to find a unique identity to separate themselves from modern death metal stalwarts such as Tomb Mold, Undeath, Cosmic Putrefaction, etc…

What we have here is modern old school death metal with a pinch of doom that is certainly enjoyable, even if it's a little repetitive, despite its short runtime. 'Fracturing The Voronoi' is perhaps the best track of the three, showcasing the best riff work and intensity, while closer 'Geometric Dismemberment' sits at the bottom rung of the three, feeling drawn out and ultimately boring, which is disappointing, considering it's the closer.

The production is crisp and thick, definitely suitable for this kind of death metal. It certainly adds that extra punch and gives the music the life that it needs without feeling sterile or robotic. The song structures are predictable as all hell, but it isn't too much of a detriment to the overall experience. Once again, it feels like the band took ideas straight out of the Tomb Mold handbook, and while I definitely like the sound, their aforementioned country mates perform this type of death metal much better.

If you're like me and you can't get enough modern death metal, this is a good little snack to hold you over until you find something more engaging. The band certainly has the capability to write some gnarly tunes in the future, but for right now, they're an above average listen every now and then.
