Demolizer couldn't really get me with their debut. Sp, when I saw that they had covered an Annihilator song, a band that didn't manage anything after their first two albums, my expectations dropped to zero. But low and behold, these Danes are tough. True, the Annihilator piece is as bad as it has always been. But the three own titles let forget the somewhat half-baked first work. Doubtlessly, it feels good that 'Ghoul' and 'Get Out Of My Way' revive the young Slayer. They are based on energizing, fast rhythms and the barked, defiant vocals: I’m almost sure he did not enjoy a classical singing education, but that’s no problem at all. In this form and style, a tour of Demolizer with their equally rabid compatriots called Killing would make sense.

Especially 'Ghoul' is characterized by an overdose of cruelty, whereby the technical precision is not neglected at any second. It’s getting obvious - both the musicians and the producer are masters of their craft. Therefore, in addition to cutting riffs that have fallen in love with pure aggression, there is also a clean, but by no means sterile sound. Too bad that a physical release of this work is missing.

Rather dragging rhythms characterize 'Torture Insanity'. The third self-composed piece creates a pretty menacing atmosphere. Once again, here everything fits for those who want to get old school thrash served without foreign ingredients. Rough vocals, alternately sawing or howling guitars and powerful drums find each other and a siren-like melody fragment gives the song an apocalyptic touch. And even those who think that thrash metal always has to be fast can at least enjoy the middle part of this track. Conclusion: cool surprise. Now my advice is simple. Release an album (without a lame cover nobody needs) in this form and the Demolizer world is absolutely fine.
