Don't you just love these kinds of releases that simply do what it says on the can? Skull-crushing violence is what we get, alright.

Profanation deals in a filth-ridden, dirty, and ugly form of death metal infected with primitive grindcore. Like a cancerous Terrorizer, this band slaps the listener around the ears with a raw dose of speedy death metal, combining blast beat-driven high-speed velocity with a slower, dirtier midtempo stomp, with some truly excellent guitar leads thrown in. There is a good dose of war metal-ish elements present, like the Conqueror pick slides at the start of "Global Terror", as well as in the truly ferocious delivery of the music. The band plows through their material with menacing intent, delivering the music with manic energy and aggressive power. On top of this highly volatile mixture comes the vomitous growling delivery of vocalist Profane Alex, whose deranged vocals add the final touch to this kind of aural terror. And this is just great.

The production is raw and sounds absolutely natural throughout, I don't think there has been a lot of digital trickery involved, which only adds to the voracious attitude the band exudes. This truly is stuff that grabs you by the throat to rip off your face, oozing unhinged power and menace during the runtime of this little ditty. The only thing I could remark is that the guitars could've used a bit more space up front in the mix, but in the end, it doesn't really matter all that much, this shit sounds bonkers enough the way it stands now. I can't help repeating myself, it seems, but this is just great.

This is some serious hurtful stuff, and I love it! If you're into raw, well-executed, and especially voracious death/grind, you simply can not afford to miss this EP. This is one of those releases that you don't see released enough these days.

By the way, have I already mentioned that this is great?
