Lurking in the abject gloom of the metal forest, is a force that is stalking the unsuspected and the unwary. It then simply leaps out and captures you... The Day Of The Beast is now upon us, holding us in it's metal grasps.
Line any good carnivore needs to be, The Day Of The Beast strikes... and shows you metal at it's extreme and it's best...all at the same time. With that said, you automatically understand that this band is more than worth a basic listen. These guys are worth way more than that simple consideration.
These guys are heavy as a two tone boulder, but they still pack an intelligence factor that reaches high up on the scale. With songs like 'Pangea Rising' and 'He Who Shuns The Light' They begin to make you understand that they are not mindless bangers out to slay you with furious guitar work... no! These chaps seem to have intelligence to spare, and introduce that throughout this onslaught of metal... extreme metal with extreme intelligence... gotta love that.
Some of the power is lost in the mix here, but never dampens what is a great explosion from a band that is already climbing the ladder of notoriety. They are not there yet, but shows sings that The Day Of The Beast is getting closer.
