Review by JD on April 7, 2009.

A three piece metal can be really good, or really bad. Motorhead was a trio that was truly phenomenal, so was the godfathers of Black Metal Venom back in the day. We have Annihilate The Hero jumping on the scene, and they are proving that three people in today's metal landscape can really kick ass.

They pile so many different flavours into their music. Shades of Thrash, Power, Death and other varying forms of metal all intertwine, and what comes out is a band that really does take things seriously. They have loving have sculpted a work of sonic art that leaps out and pummels you at every turn.

They remind me of so many bands, and they add in some nu-metal overtones as well... something that I do not really like, but in the end I do like that with this group. They do bring to the table the ability to meld together every last influence they can find... then make something that is their's and their's alone.

It was interesting as all hell... and is a good one to hear. If their next one (which I do not know if they have one or not) is this good, I will be happy as hell to pick it up.
