Crossover... a term I first heard back in high school when it came to bands like Corrosion Of Conformity and DRI. Punk and Metal melding into one beast, creating fear in both purest camps of Punk and Metal. I happen to like the Crossover scene from those days. These days the lines have been blurred so much, but the music is still amazing.

Kiju is one of those newer breed of Crossover bands that are redefining the Crossover scene. They are a band that combines the social and political furies of the anti-societal punk with this huge wall of uncompromising metal that powers through everything. Redefining what the whole Crossover means. Simply put... it is intelligent brutality.

Tracks like the blazing power of ‘New World Oblivion’ not to mention the heavy tumultuous bombardment of ‘Endless Storm’ they shows musical complexity while still making sonic devastation and still being intelligent. It is that mix, that always drove the Crossover thing to newer heights.

Kiju is a band that does straddle the lines, and forces the listener to listen all the while headbanging along furiously. It is the best of multi-tasking... and it is the most fun as well. I for one, find it amazing.
