Why did ‘March 4’ and ‘Sulfur’ get axed for “Last Fair Deal Gone Down”? Does anyone know?
These are two tracks that should have been mandatory inclusions for the latest from Katatonia.

Despite being only three tracks long... and just under fourteen minutes long, the “Teargas” EP is a worthy purchase that any serious Katatonia fan already has, and most music enthusiasts should be on the lookout for.

“Teargas” is the preliminary single that Katatonia released before their groundbreaking album in “Last Fair Deal Gone Down”. ‘Sulfur’ and ‘March 4’ are still in the same Katatonia style forged in “Last Fair Deal Gone Down”, but also contain a more fused element between their latest album and the more mellow parts on “Tonight’s Decision”. Jonas Renske’s vocals seem to be even more sorrowful than thought possible on this sampler of the new Katatonia. Memorable and catchy all these tracks are exemplary examples of what secrets are to be beheld in the metal genre.

Bottom Line: If you have “Last Fair Deal Gone Down”, then there is no reason you shouldn’t have this EP. “Teargas” may only be three tracks, and the ‘Teargas’ single is already on “LFDGD”, but the other tracks, ‘Sulfur’ and ‘March 4’ are worthy additions to any Katatonia library.
