This was a good album that had a similar feeling to Something Wicked This Way Comes and is very atmospheric.  It is a very dark and moving album that has the right ingredients to craft an interesting atmosphere.  The mood is quite interesting and the album has a good deal of epic elements to craft an intoxicating mix.

The songs here are just as compelling as those on Something Wicked This Way Comes.  There is a feeling that the band is trying to be as cool as possible and it shows up in the good production values and pristine performances on the album.  This is a thoughtful and entertaining album that has the right mixture of epic. 

The downside of this album is that it is not as interesting as some of their other albums and falters a bit in terms of innovation.  The earlier albums like Night of the Stormrider were more groundbreaking.  This is still a very great addition to the band’s catalogue.

The overall feeling of the album is that it is very impressive and makes its mark upon the listener.  It is dark and has an involving feel to it that it quite laudable.  There is not as thoughtful as Something Wicked This Way Comes, but still very noteworthy.  Fans of the band’s previous material will like it.
