Buried Secrets: HORNED ALMIGHTY, DOOMRAISER, MOONREICH

Horned Almighty - To Fathom The Master's Grand Design

Horned Almighty - To Fathom The Master's Grand Design

Danish extreme metal institution HORNED ALMIGHTY return with their 6th album, 6 years after last opus "World of Tombs" - there must be one more 6 hidden somewhere?! Furious and crashing attack drenched in nineties black metal spreads death and disease behind every guitar riff and destructive stroke of the drums. From punkish black to heavy crushing doomy metal, HORNED ALMIGHTY breaks all barriers and delivers most diverse record in band's discography.

This latest manifest of hate, "To Fathom the Master's Grand Design" is going to be available on January, 17th, 2020 via Scarlet Records.

Doomraiser - The Dark Side Of Old Europa

Italian doom metallers DOOMRAISER have been contaminating our minds with their raw experiments of heavy metal and psychedelia since 2004 and it should not come as a surprise that their latest effort "The Dark Side Of Old Europa" drinks heavily from this adulterated cup. Band explains:

"Exploring Europa's darkest events, we conceived an obscure sound relying on the Doomraiser 'heavy drunken doom' trademarks: heavy metal played at a monolithic pace, where fast and slower, gloomy introspective parts often collide. The final result is very 'live sounding', every instrument breathes with vicious abandon while building a tight wall of sound. This time around the songs’ length has also been reduced in order to strengthen their impact and intensity".

"The Dark Side Of Old Europa" is set for international release on January 24th, 2020 via Time To Kill Records.

Moonreich - Wormgod

Moonreich - Wormgod

After highlighting two releases set for 2020, I think it's time to look at one that's coming out tomorrow. France pride and joy, MOONREICH are back with new EP "Wormgod," following in my opinion one of the best releases of 2018, their 4th full-length "Fugue". Three new tacks and one Depeche Mode cover displays the band's continuous growth and maturity. The combination of styles, progressiveness and overall unpredictability delivered with furious rage yet accessible is what sets them apart from the masses. And that beginning of the title track!, 'I play with death...' going into blasts, this is how you kick start your day or at least how I always begin my workouts!

"Wormgod" will hit the stores tomorrow, on November 22nd, 2019 via Les Acteurs De L'Ombre Productions.
