MB on Spotify - August summary

Greetings fellow metalheads!

August has spoiled us when it comes to releases, that's for sure. It will be difficult to mention all of the ones that should be mentioned in this short text, so please make sure to click on the links below to see the whole variety of devil's music released in the last month. And, as usual, don't forget to check out our profile on Spotify regularly as we already have some quite interesting releases on our September playlists as well. That's obviously if you want to stay up to date. Keep on clicking on previous months as well, these are also being updated as soon as some bands are being discovered by yours truly.

Now, to the introduction of those given priority by their creators - singles. One of my favourite Japanese bands Dir En Grey released one, no surprises here, the band is still as unique as always. Some big names on this playlist - Anaal Nathrakh (Industrial Black Metal), Gojira (Progressive/Groove/Death Metal), good old UK death metal band Benediction (Dave Ingram back on vocals!), Swiss veterans Messiah are back as well, Carcass also gave us new track, Napalm Death, Enslaved, Kataklysm, too. The list is way bigger than that, though, I strongly encourage you to see it for yourself, over 8 hours of just singles. I'm sure you will find something for yourself here:

The list of EPs is also quite impressive, some really good things here: Messiah, mentioned above, Batushka (Krysiuk's one), Cryptworm, Grimgotts, Intoxicated, The Projectionist, Pig Destroyer and Hinayana (my favourite):

Now, the heavy-weights - albums. The ones I would definitely recommend checking out - Stillbirth, Black Crown Initiate, Ingested and Cytotoxin. But it's worth checking them all out just to see what is happening in other sub- and microgenres of metal. To check them all out head over here:

Some re-releases also took place in August - we've got In The Woods "Strange in Stereo", remaster of Venom's "Sons of Satan", Krosis is giving us a taste of things to come with "Sacrificum" track before remasters of both albums "Mount of Sacrifice" and "Solem Vatem" are out. And if you sometimes wonder how some artists would record their old album if they knew back then what they know now - In Flames presents you the new version of "Clayman". All mentioned above can be found under the link below:

Don't forget to add these to your favorites and keep on checking them, listening to good music and if you have some good stuff to share that I might have missed - let us know!

Mosh responsibly \m/
