MB on Spotify - November summary

Greetings fellow metalheads!

Here we are, slowly entering the season of wrap-ups and other summaries for the year 2023 and soon we'll be sharing our top albums. Let's have a look at the releases from November to see if any of them make end of the year list.

Albums first. We've got Xoth (reviewed by Adam M), Michael reviewed the newest albums by Suffocation, The Color of Rain, Vastum, Gama Bomb and Aeternus, Vladimir reviewed Rascal, Mephorash and Valdrin, Fernando shared his thoughts about the latest Mortuary Drape, Adam M reviewed Hinayana and Alex Grindor had some thoughts on the fresh album from Convocation. Let's not forget about the new release from legendary thrashers Sadus and I definitely enjoyed listening to the latest Shylmagoghnar, King and Burden of Grief. Head to the link to find these and more:

The list of EPs released in November includes Sign of Evil, Vulnificus, Strigoi, Insomnium, Déhà, Sodom, Knives Exchanging Hands, Aeons Abyss, Houkago Grind Time, Runemagick, Maul, Celeste, The Breathing Process, Fluids, Beyond Grace and Alluvial. Enjoy!

I found quite a few gems on the singles playlist in November. Exocrine got my attention, there's a new single from Upon a Burning Body, Dimmu Borgir released their version of "Perfect Strangers" (Deep Purple), there's an interesting track "The Last Howl" recorded by Savage Lands with guest appearance from Dirk Verbeuren, Andreas Kisser and John Tardy. That's quite a company. Madder Mortem are preparing us for their next release, Enterprise Earth had a single with Darius Tehrani, other singles came from Walg, Ihsahn, Judas Priest, Saxon, The Halo Effect, Vredehammer, Blood Red Throne, P.O.D. had a track with Tatiana Shmayluk and another one with Randy Blythe and Bruce Dickinson released first track from his upcoming new solo album. And even more can be found here:

Splits playlist is quite short in November, we've got Funeral Fullmoon/Nocturnal Prayer, Sarcrista's tracks from the split "Opus Blasphematum", Rottenness/Seeping Protoplasm, Night Hag/Burial and the last split is Houkago Grind Time tracks from their split with Myxoma. And here's the link:

The live releases playlist could cover one whole shift as it's slightly over 8 hours long and includes performances by Rottenness, Evergrey, Watain, Drowned, Apocalyptica, Trick or Treat, Rotborn, Escarnium, Arphegy, Whitechapel, Helllight, Bernth, Northlane, Lomor and Age of Fire.

On the list of re-released materials we have Balgeroth, Paradise Lost, Motörhead, Lorna Shore, Epidermal Veil, Phenomy, Hypocrisy, Bleed from Within, At Vance, Monuments, Devin Townsend and The Hellacopters. Quite impressive line-up, check out what they did to your favourite albums by clicking here:

Compilation list is quite short, we've got "Deep Cuts" from Bruce Dickinson, Bewitcher decided to go even further and released "Deep Cuts & Shallow Graves" and Haunt released "Chariot, Vol. 1". All three can be found here:

And that's it for November, I'll try to update December playlist around each Friday, so that you can prepare your own summaries of the best releases in 2023. In the meantime enjoy some good tunes, don't forget to spread the good news about your favourites, treat yourself to some cool merch to support your favourite musicians and remember to mosh responsibly \m/

Your fellow metalhead,

Maciek
