MB on Spotify - July summary

Greetings, fellow metalheads!

Surprise! The July summary is here, sooner than anyone would expect, especially including me. Time for your selected bites made mostly from heavy metals, but some other flavours, too. Not that I encourage you to eat heavy metals literally, more like the ones that enter your ears. Actually... oh, nevermind. I'm sure you'll know what to do with them and hopefully won't injure yourselves. As usual - please keep an eye on this playlist even after you read this as all playlists are being constantly updated and this one will surely have more additions as soon as Nate gives an update on Metalbite folks favourites.

So, the main courses served in July came from Wormed, Vulvodynia (with some interesting guests from Signs of the Swarm, Bodysnatcher and Peeling Flesh), Orden Ogan, prog side-project Octoploid, Horned Almighty (one of my favourites from July), Forgotten Tomb, Seth, massive 3-CD worth of material from Powerwolf, supergroup Category 7, A Wake in Providence and many more. So grab a good set of headphones or earphones or earpods or whatever else you use to transfer music and enjoy!

Now, for the smaller bites for your lunches, brunches or maybe even suppers - the EPs. We've got Maule, Traumatomy, Inerth, Artach, Eremit, Unearth (with 2 live tracks), SINthetik Messiah. We also have I, Cursed and this is just one band, they just deliberately came up with a name making it difficult for me when I list many bands separating them with a coma. Devious, aren't they? Let's continue - we've also got an EP from a band with one of the longest words used for a band name (good luck fans with calling them to come up on stage or asking for an encore, I dare you) - Onchocerciasis Esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Other EPs came from Manam (also with live tracks), Kommandant, Nytt Land, Cannibal Accident, Tyranno, Three Dead Fingers, Incessant and Saqraruna. Seeing that it's so messy with vocabulary, capitalizing certain letters or just using too many of them, using commas willy nilly, adding live tracks (making it again more difficult for me to classify because I usually put live releases in a separate category), you might consume these bites however you like. Use headphones, computer speakers, tv speakers, bluetooth speakers, car speakers, soundbars or whatever else you've got, even your microwave. To listen to all of those anarchistic troublemakers head over here:

I obviously always have something for those who love constantly snacking on small bites. New single came from Lago (in case you're impatiently waiting for new Morbid Angel I definitely recommend them as they really satisfy the craving). It's been 7 years, Trey, people are starving in metal community. Other notable bites came from The Spirit, Swallow the Sun, HammerFall, Flotsam & Jetsam, Massacre, Nile, As I Lay Dying, 1349, In Aphelion, Destruction, Oceano, Caliban, Wolfheart, Vomit Forth, Gaerea, Cemetary Skyline, Distant, Stryper, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Crest of Darkness, Loudblast, Fit for an Autopsy, Tribulation and Arch Enemy. Plenty of other snacks available here:

I've managed to find two 2-meal deals from July - Diskord/Atvm and Vectis/Grimsever, both available here:

Now if you like to gobble up your metal while it's still moving, I've got something for you, too. We've got Amorphis, Arpeghy, Ghost (live recordings to accompany "Rite Here, Rite Now" movie), Knife, Metal Church and The Sun's Journey Through The Night:

If you like re-heated bites (as it sometimes adds some extra flavour), we've got Atreyu, Blind Guardian, Crown Magnetar, Dark Funeral, Fallujah, Frostmoon Eclipse, Kattlik, Lamb of God, Mortajas, Pain, Rivers of Nihil and Show Me a Dinosaur in one neat menu:

We've also got a menu compiled by chefs from Nunslaughter, recommending their best 80 bites:

After such a feast I obviously recommend to wash it down with some liquids. And generally remember to hydrate yourselves as quite a lot of you are probably out on some festivals since it's the middle of the summer. Keep checking out our profile to stay up to date, support your favourite bite-makers, share the best bites with others and obviously mosh responsibly \m/.

Your fellow metalhead,

Maciek
