MB on Spotify - August summary

Greetings, fellow metalheads!

Northern hemisphere is saying farewell to summer and the indoor activities are taking over. And every indoor activity is better if it has some good music playing in the background. August brought quite a few interesting releases, so let's get right to it.

Albums first. They create a perfect backdrop for longer activities like family dinners, preparing meals, working out at the gym, or having phone calls with your mom. Anyways, the Metalbite crew provided their take on few of them: In Aphelion (review by Vladimir), Spectral Wound (Michael), Nile (Jeger), Sapientia Diaboli (Felix) and Anciients (Jeger). Other releases worth checking out came from Evnen, HammerFall, Earth Ship, Dark Tranquillity, Within the Ruins, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Pneuma Hagion, Oceano and Modern Rites. All the above and more can be found here:

Now EP's. Perfect background for a short lunch, setting up washing, doing the dishes or taking out the trash. EPs released in August came from Born a New, Cemetery Filth, Elder Devil, A Forest of Dreams, Grael, Gravenoire, Hellripper, Horns & Hooves, Nytt Land and Vetrar Draugurinn. All releases for your short chores can be found here:

Now singles, perfect for short activities like having a cigarette or writing a tweet. Or the longest I would be able to stay alive in any online FPS game. Samples of upcoming bigger releases came from 1349, All That Remains, Bewitcher, The Black Dahlia Murder, Born of Osiris, Carnosus, The Crown, Devin Townsend, Equilibrium, Ereb Altor, Fit for an Autopsy, Flotsam & Jetsam, Gaerea, God Dethroned, Jinjer, Krosis, Lordi, Michael Schenker Group, Oceans of Slumber, Opeth, Satan, Shadow of Intent, Swallow the Sun, Trelldom, Vestige, Wolfheart and many more. The set of perfect soundtracks for any commercial break can be found here:

I've managed to find only one split released in August - Memoriam/As The World Dies:

The live productions released in August came from Afsky, Arpeghy, Blind Guardian, Demonical, Elder, Houkago Grind Time, Knife, Marduk, Merciless Law, Signs of the Swarm, Stellar Circuits and Venom. Perfect soundtrack for outdoor activities, like picnic (if weather allows) or going to a boring movie, can be found below:

Now a set of releases for special occasions, maybe you have a special memory about some releases and want to relive those magical moments. Can't think of a better soundtrack than these:

Enjoy your indoor activities, don't forget to keep an eye on our profile as September lists are already on their way. Let all your acquaintances know about these treasures, let the creators know you like them (in comments or money) and obviously remember to mosh responsibly \m/

Your fellow metalhead,

Maciek
