Today we are honored to premiere the third track 'Casus Belli' by the Dutch black metal band WELTSCHMERZ from their upcoming third full-length album III: Non Sequitur.

If have have a look at the cover of the album you will know what you can find in the song. Sick and hateful vocals and crooked riffs offer some dystopian, depressive and hopeless old-school black metal in the vein of Deathspell Omega and other bands that offer the ugly and unpolished side of black metal. 'Casus Belli' isn't representing the Netherlands you might know from the traveling catalog with tulips, windmills and Gouda cheese – this is the rotten face of Holland showing decay, stinking and littered side streets and rotting flowers. This autumn is going to be full of depression and pain and WELTSCHMERZ! Out on October the 30th via the band's Bandcamp site!

Whereas WELTSCHMERZ started off with old school black metal as shown on the 'Cry For War' EP and full-length debut 'Odium Humani Generis', the band moved to more experimental black metal on 'Illustra Nos'. 'III: Non Sequitur' manages to bring these styles together, bringing oldschool aggression together with more atmospheric and dissonant sections. This synthesis is aided by the fact that this is the first album to feature Galgenvot (Wrang, Sarastus, Order of Nosferat (live)) on vocals, bringing a haunting vibe to the music, naturally bringing together the album.
