Hailing from the ancient lands of Germany, WARLUST set to release their sophomore album "Unearthing Shattered Philosophies" through Dying Victims Productions later on this month on April 24th, 2020.

Their preview off the album 'To Fall Apart', clothes itself in a melancholy and nihilistic dread the likes of Mgła (Poland). Take a listen to that guitar tuning, some of the leading strings and vocal patterns and you'd hear the obvious influence. But that's it; Mgła is only an influence, as with the progression of the song, the band's thrashing emerges from a somber sea while holding on to the saddening yet dark atmosphere. Sudden shifts in pacing and solos as warm and wet as the tearful leads steer the track to a climaxing end.

If "Unearthing Shattered Philosophies" has more of what's featured on 'To Fall Apart' then WARLUST may be setting us up for one of 2020s highlights.
