MB Premiere: DRIFT INTO BLACK - 'The Burial Gown'

Watch out for gothic/doom metal band DRIFT INTO BLACK when "Patterns of Light" is released from the one-man project steered by Craig Rossi. There are gothic influences here mixed with aforementioned doom, however the music is a bit more interesting than what you'd expect from a band that is within the genre. There are elements of death metal, black metal, melodic death metal and also some miniscule traces of traditional heavy metal.

The premiere single 'The Burial Gown' is a very appetizing tease; its six (6) minute length goes well with groove, the clean vocals, the death metal vocals, the synth and overall melody of the guitars that evoke feelings of sadness. I don't recall a gothic/doom album by a lesser-known band over the last 3 years or so that is this enjoyable and holds so much potential. Get "Patterns of Light" when it's released on April 23rd, 2021.

INQUISITION Unleashed New Track 'Wings Of Anu'

INQUISITION have unleashed the first track 'Wings Of Anu', of their forthcoming album Bloodshed Across The Empyrean Altar Beyond The Celestial Zenith, out on August 26th via Season Of Mist.
Regarding 'Wings of Anu', Frontman Dagon comments on behalf of the duo: "He is the god of all stars, creator of all gods and ruler of all heavens. His wings have extended to earth in the form of wings in flying motion visiting us since we were the seeds of his creation. The wings are many and they watch upon us in silence from the skies that connect through portals of time."
