Let's start with an atmospheric black from AND NOW THE OWLS ARE SMILING and it second full length album of depressive metal The Comforting Grip Of Misery. Nre introduces us to his world of sadness and melancholy with impeccably titled first single 'The Comforting Grip Of Misery' that includes enchanting guest guitar work from Steve Blackwood. Emotionally intense with overwhelming sense of pain it bleeds with every guitar stroke cuttings deep wounds with each note.

The Comforting Grip Of Misery will see the glimpse of light on November 1st, 2019 released by Clobber Records.

Fuil Na Seanchoille - The Crossing

Moving on to raw black metal entity FUIL NA SEANCHOILLE. Hailing from Ireland, this one man project's underground resume is all about filthy and disgusting sounds and while 'The Crossing' is a single 29-minute composition, don't let the beginning of this sample fool you with a funereal lament from female voice, because psychedelic bestiality that follows will lay waste to everything in its path.

The cover art for The Crossing, was done by Zdzisław Beksiński who simply can't paint an uninspired image. Me Saco Un Ojo Records, in conspiracy with Tour de Garde will release this filth on November 14th, 2019.

Orthodoxy - Novus Lux Dominus

Finally, we come to the debut album Novus Lux Dominus from Spanish death metal band ORTHODOXY. 'Flame Of Primordial Essence' doesn't hold anything back, blasts from the first note hit right between the eyes with devastating energy crushing bones with hypnotic guitar licks and sinister solo. There's something diabolicaly sadistic about this first single that like a spell has bounded me to this ritual awaiting next incantation.
